A few cool highlights are Face Unlock, which makes it simpler than at any other time to get in your smartphone, and Motion Sense, which lets you control music playback, quiet alerts, and more with a wave of your hand. As you can see in the photo of Pixel 4, there is a huge forehead bezel, this is where Google put project SOLI technology.

Recently, last year OnePlus launched its premium flagship smartphone range. OnePlus 8 Pro is one of the best looking and optimally designed smartphone.

Oneplus 8 pro

The operating system, OxygenOS that OnePlus puts on its phones, it features some really good ideas, and somehow or another enhances the stock Android that Google provides. Put in a couple of hours utilizing it and you’ll understand.

Other flagship smartphones may beat the OnePlus 8 Pro in the camera department, but I have faith in OnePlus that very soon they will bring the best. They have drastically updated the camera department of this phone compared to last year’s OnePlus 7t Pro.

Another thing I love about OnePlus is its fast charging technology. Previously it was named Dash Charge. Now it’s called Warp charge. Whatever it named but it is one of the best fast charging technology out there in the industry.

Best Smartphones in the Mid-range segment

This segment of the smartphone industry is what you call the “Flagship Killers”. The best possible utilization of technology and user experience at an aggressive price tag is what makes this segment.

Now, recently in India people are more interested in this category.

Obviously, who does not want a value for money product? So, after buying a phone from this range you get the vibe that – “Yes, this is best at this price point.” Well, you don’t get everything that the premium phones offer though.

Here are my best smartphone picks for this category –

1. OnePlus 7T

The company, OnePlus first brought the idea of a flagship killer phone with their OnePlus 1 on 23 April 2014. Back then they offered Snapdragon’s flagship processor just for US$299. When comes to this budget premium segment, I always prefer what OnePlus offers to other companies.

The OnePlus 7T comes with Snapdragon 855 plus Soc with a 90 Hz fluid display. You won’t face any issue with performance as they quickly update the bugs if found. I would say the software department of OnePlus is one of the best you get.

Galaxy s10 lite

The Galaxy S10 Lite comes with Snapdragon 855 SoC. Usually, I don’t prefer non-premium Samsung phones, because Samsung put their Exynos processors. But this one is a bit different.
